My speech
Posted on December 6th, 2007 at 10:50 am by Celia and

Last week we had to do our speech. This is my speech: What makes me worried! Hi! My name is Celia. I’ll be talking about my project on what makes me……. worried.  So what makes me worried? Well, pollution does. Pollution has concerned me a lot. So what does pollution mean? Well, it means the process of making air, water or soil dirty. It also means the state of being dirty; also it could mean to spoil or to be dirty. Did you know that the heavy traffic pollutes the air?  Pollution can affect me by breathing polluted air in. Breathing polluted air can make me sick. Well, actually it also harms animals such as turtles because when it’s swimming it can just swallow a plastic bag. The plastic bag will choke the turtle the turtle then will die. I feel sad because seeing animals’ dead is really sad. Why would you like seeing animals dead. I also feel worried because what if all the animals die like that. What can we do? Well, we can work more often then drive. Also, don’t litter hold on to your rubbish until there’s a bin and put it in the bin not on the floor.  Also we can plant more trees because trees make the air cleaner. By the way, you can tell your parents not to smoke because smoking pollutes the air.  It’s our future, let’s save our animals now before they all die out. I hope you follow all these good things. Thank you!

What do you think????????

I loved your speech about your worries, I think pollution is bad too because animals are being hurt. Some people don’t care about the planet and just throw rubbish on the ground and in the water.
